Loft Insulation
Insulating your loft is the most effective way of keeping heat in your home, up to 25% of your heat could be wasted if your loft is not insulated.
The government regards loft insulation as one of the most effective energy saving measures that most people can carry out on their homes.
If you already have insulation, it may not be to the minimum recommended depth of 300mm (12″). If your loft has not been insulated in the last 15 years it will probably have less than this government standard depth.
You have three options when insulating your loft – you can fit the insulation above, in between, or below the rafters. In order to meet regulation requirements, you may
need a combination of these three methods.
And, when it comes to choosing the best insulation material for your loft, there are numerous options, such as polyurethanes, extruded polystyrene, boards, rolls, or slabs, multifoils, natural materials, or blown-in.
Whatever the material used, we use only top quality insulation products, and the expected lifespan of our insulation work is at least 40 years.
